B2 USA Debit Test Card Set
A 17-card set for verifying US Common Debit AID selection and routing. Where the Global AID and the US Common Debit AID coexist, it lets you check the terminal, the host and the receipt as one chain.
The testing problems this solves
In the United States, the Global AID and the US Common Debit AID coexist on the same physical card, combined with single or multiple funding accounts, credit or debit selection, PIN debit or signature debit, and merchant routing choices. Recognising the card is not enough: the terminal interface, cardholder selection, the PIN path, network routing, the host message, the receipt and voids or refunds all have to be checked as one chain.

Relationship to certification levels
| Category | Position |
|---|---|
| EMV Level 1 / Level 2 | Not a formal tool for certification |
| EMV Level 3 | It supports UAT, pre-testing and regression testing |
| Acquirer certification | Used where the acquirer specifies and approves it |
Passing a test with a B2 card is not the same as passing scheme or acquirer certification.
Points to confirm before use and before ordering
| Item | Detail |
|---|---|
| Host support for the test BIN | A card may read at the terminal and still fail online authorisation if the processor has not registered the test BIN. Please confirm that the processor concerned supports it before use |
| Test CA public key | If the scheme's test CA public key is not loaded in the terminal, transactions fail in SDA, DDA and CDA |
| Blocking of the offline PIN | Repeating an incorrect offline PIN decrements the PIN try counter and can block the card permanently |
| Card expiry and bill of materials | At shipment we obtain a per-card expiry list and a breakdown of what is included |
| Whether the profile is fixed | If you need to change arbitrary tags, consider a custom test card or ICCSimDev |
Choosing the right B2 test card set
Choose a B2 card product by which interface and which market conditions you need to verify.
| Product | If you are considering |
|---|---|
| EMV test card set | You want transaction UAT by region and scheme using physical cards, mainly contact |
| Touchless Dual IF Collection | You want transaction UAT for contactless and dual interface |
| ★ USA Debit test card set (this page) | You want to verify US Common Debit AID selection and routing |
| 8-Digit BIN Test Card Set | You want to confirm 8-digit BIN support across terminal, host and routing |
| UAT EBT card | You need transaction UAT for special cases such as EBT |
| Magnetic stripe simulator | You want to simulate magnetic track behaviour, or verify it with the SmartStripe probe |
Where it is used
- Setting up operational verification for a new development
- Regression after a configuration change or update
- Coverage checks ahead of certification
Relationship to certification
For UAT and pre-testing. If certification is required, testing is carried out at an accredited test laboratory and the approval is issued by EMVCo or the payment scheme concerned. We can introduce the laboratory.
